SPRAY-IN BEDLINERS
It’s the dawn of a new era in “Rapid Curing” spray-in truck bed liner system and now the most versatile advanced technology has arrived!!!
Malibu’s polyurea coating systems manufactured by Elastomer Specialties is the next generation in tuff, reliable liners, designed to provide long term durability and attractive functionality to your truck, boat or RV.
Unlike fast-set urethane liners, polyurea is “NOT” temperature or moisture sensitive. This means Malibu’s can be applied in low temperatures or in areas of high humidity with no worry about blistering or product cure.
Once applied, Malibu’s offers long term protection against rust/corrosion and outperforms all types of plastic drop-in liners, rubber mats and paint-like coatings. Malibu’s will not peel, crack, flake, or chip and because of its unique stipple finish, Malibu’s prevents cargo from sliding around in the truck bed causing damage to the vehicle and merchandise.
Malibu’s Vs. Drop In Liners
Drop in Bed Liners: A single or multiple rubber or plastic insert designated to protect the truck bed from damage when hauling heavy and sharp objects. Drop in liners require drilled holes to be installed in order to hold the liner in place. In most cases drop ins trap water and debris between the liner and the truck bed. This usually results in rust and corrosion to the bed and at some point will need to be addressed before permanent damage occurs. Drop in liners, overtime, will wrap and crack and do not prevent cargo from shifting.
Spray-In Bed Liners: Unlike drop in bed liners, Malibu’s is a rapid curing, polyurea spray coating that permanently bonds to the truck bed surface, eliminating the possibility of moisture and foreign debris being trapped beneath the liner, causing serious damage to the substrate. Because Malibu’s is rapid curing, it can easily be sprayed both vertically and overhead without the threat of material runs. Malibu’s is UV stable and will not deteriorate under the harsh suns rays. When applied, perfectly contours to the design of the truck, filling every crick and cranny making it completely water tight. Once the stippled texture is applied, the end result is a beautiful membrane that prevents cargo slippage and ads value to your vehicle, regardless of whether it is new or used.

Key Features of Malibu’s Spray-In Bed Liners
Durability: The chemical make-up of Malibu’s is the same technology that is being used in the automotive industry for molding bumpers, side panels and other areas of the vehicle that require a tough, resilient surface to repeal impact for rock, gravel and foreign road debris. Because Malibu’s is an elastomeric polyruea, it stays flexible and will not crack even at temperatures as low as –40°F. Gatorhyde is designed to bond to the truck bed surface indefintely.
Cosmetic Appeal: The tight stipple effect makes for a complete uniform coating over the entire surface of the truck bed. Many other bed liners offer a rough, bumpy texture that is not uniform in its application. This type of liner is much more difficult to repair when damaged. Since damage can occur to any liner, Malibu’s developed a cartridge spray repair kit for all its certified dealers and when necessary, those damaged areas can be repair, making it extremely difficult to determine where the damaged occurred.
Warranty: Malibu’s offer a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. Should, at any time, your sprayed on liner peel, crack, flake or disband from the surface of the vehicle, take your truck to the nearest Certified installer for immediate repair or replacement.
